Offered for sale is a gently used calico dress in a
Girl's size 14-16. Made of 100% cotton green
calico, it has three wooden buttons which are just
visible in the picture. The body of the dress is
gathered to a yoke and the wrists are elazticized.
This calico dress is in pristine condition without any
rips, tears or stains.
This dress is not historically accurate and should
only be worn for impressionistic events. This calico
dress would be suitable for school plays, parades,
and other such events. This dress is remniscent of
the TV series Little House on the Prairie, based
upon the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. In a pinch it
could be worn for a Civil War event as a loaner
garment.
