Offered for sale is one ladies colonial petticoat
made of 100% linen. The colors are mustard,
green, and dark brick red. The colors and weave
are stunning and the fluidity or "hand" of this fabric
is very desirable when working with linen. Waist
closes in typical colonial fashion with ties wrapping
around the waist and features two side slits for
easy access to your pockets. Fabric has been
pre-washed to minimize shrinkage. All visible
seams have been hand-finished with a
coordinating cotton thread - see photo.
This 18th century petticoat coordinates beautifully
with the burgundy wool shortgown offered here.
Measurements are as follows:
