Offered for sale is one ladies colonial petticoat
made of 100% linen. The colors are tan with a
black stripe. Even though this colonial petticoat is
brand new, the fabric has become slightly
discolored in the pre-shrinking process. The tan
color now has a slight lavender hue. Very pretty.
This 18th century petticoat is made of a sturdy
woven flax. All visible seams have been
hand-finished. The waist closes in typical colonial
fashion with ties wrapping around the waist and
features two side slits for easy access to your
pockets. There is a slight discoloration on the
waistband tape from trying to remove the overdye,
but will not be visible when worn with either a jacket
or apron. Fabric has been pre-washed to minimize
shrinkage. This 18th century petticoat is worn over
our quilted petticoat which can be viewed
here.
Measurements are as follows:

Waist: 40"
Length: 33 1/2"
Circumference: 112"
