Offered for sale is one lightly used ladies
colonial style low-crowned straw hat. This
straw hat is in excellent condition. It is
trimmed in lavender grosgrain ribbon which
can be removed without damaging the hat.
This style of hat was very popular during
the last half of the 18th century. Women of
all classes would wear straw hats and the
lower the crown, the more fashionable it
was.
Measurements are as follows:
Crown height: 2"
Crown width: 5 1/4"
Brim width: 19 1/2"
