Wool Guard's superior formula was developed to protect our own kilts, quilts, and woolens from
being deteriorated to rags.  As reenactors we understand the need you have to protect your
expensive and favorite costumes from being destroyed by the three most common fiber
destroyers.
"Members of the Tineidae family, their common names are the casemaking clothes
moth (Tinea pellionella), webbing clothes moth (Tineola bisselliella) and carpet moth
(Trichophaga tapetzella). Most people lump them together and refer to them all as clothes
moths or miller moths."**
When you look at the picture above you are looking at a piece of
fabric that has been destroyed by moths.  The copper colored cylinder on the left is a full
grown moth, the bumpy area is a group of moth eggs and towards the top of the picture you
can see the top half of a larva (it has a dark head).

How does Wool Guard work?  Simply pour a drop of our beneficial blend onto an incon-
spicuous area of the textile to be treated.  Or drop a small amount of this incredible oil onto a
cotton ball and place it in the container where the article is being stored.  For closets, place
cotton balls three feet apart.  For basic moth prevention, one bottle can provide
years of repelling power.

Our all-natural blend of essential oils has a very pleasing, herbal smell that won't offend
humans.  However, the essential oils used in Wool Guard have been proven effective in
repelling moths.  They don't like the smell so they simply leave.

**WARNING** Wool Guard is comprised of essential oils, of which the base is 98% ALMOND
OIL
. If you have nut allergies, please use the proper precautions.
